Our operation is innovative since its inception, as one of the variables of the basic project, was the estimate of the locations where new-coming operators would install their main equipments.

The innovative project of AES Com network considered the combination of two key elements:

·         The potential locations where the new-coming carriers, attracted by the deregulation process, would install their switches and other main equipments.

·         The existing infrastructure poles of the local electricity distribution company, used as the right-of-way for our fiber cabling installation.

The study proved to be very precise, as now the network covers the whole region with enviable capillarity.

To make it easier to reach carriers’ final customers, AES Com created Points of Presence (PoP) inside the most important commercial buildings of the city and extended the PoP concept to Virtual Points of Presence. With V-PoPs, an operator can concentrate several ADSL customers in one site and carry them to a distant switch through AES Com’s optical network, with safety and quality.

The constant research to improve our services is not limited to the physical network. Several processes such as network planning, maintenance, customer relationship and billing count are performed on sophisticated software, specially developed to give our customers the accuracy of information and the fast response they need.
